the new ANISSA AIDA showroom is located in the northern neighborhood of mutuelle ville in downtown tunis, on the border with belvedere park. this residential area features a mix of art nouveau, modernist and contemporary architecture as well as lush greenery.

the newly renovated building is divided into two independent entities: a private apartment on the top floor, and the program for ANISSA AIDA over the lower two levels. the first floor now accommodates ANISSA AIDA’s flagship showroom and workspace while the basement is home to the brand’s atelier space.
shades of blue are visible from the entrance
in the main showroom and workspace, bahri and jeljeli have created light-filled interiors that combine contemporary interventions with hints of the building’s history, such as glimpses of the old stone walls. the design considers the identity of the brand with the use of geometric patterns that are reminiscent of the clothing pieces. clever storage and display solutions have also been integrated such as a wooden unit on wheels that can be moved out of the way when the store plays host to different events.
